As
the story goes, sometime in 1990, a small pizzeria opened next to Vanderbilt
University. The building used to be a residence and was about 100 years
old.
However,
it quickly became the place to get good pizzas and beer while enjoying
live local and touring bands. |

Patrons
that visited the little hut of a pizzeria were always declaring how true
the pizzas were to the New England way of pizza-making.
Likewise,
when Guido's NY Pizzas opened in Cool Springs, Franklin, residents in
the area, especially those that were once from the Northeast region breathe
a sigh of relief that "at last a real pizza place".
However,
instead of being just a little pizzeria, Guido's in Cool Springs makes
those that go through her doors feel like they stepped into the "City".
